I have been working on starting my own business so I can leave the cubicle world. I must say the hardest thing for me to do was come up with a business name. It doesn't help that I have a marketing education and everything I've learned has not helping me come up with a business name, in addition I recall the feedback from my Marketing instructors...You must consider your brand image!
My perspective is if you are confident in yourself and the services you provide as a business owner then why must one be so consumed with a business name...and I quote Russell Simmons, "Do You!". So I'm doing me and throwing everything I've learned in Marketing class out the window...ok well not everything!
If you are in the process of starting a new business, I've been going through it for a while and I am more than happy to share what I've learned and to assist in pointing you in the right direction. If you have questions, please ask away!
